Wonderful to celebrate “Type High Day” and get together with some printer pals at the 8th annual Lancaster Printers Fair. It was a beautiful day, great to be out and about, and a good time was had by all. “Type high” refers to the height measurement of type (and cuts and any images) to be able to print with, at .918 of an inch. Thus, September 18 (9-18) is considered “Type High Day” and an occasion for type and letterpress aficiandos and enthusiasts to celebrate. Thanks to the wonderful folks at the .918 Club out of Lancaster for hosting and putting on such a great event.
