Having met some wonderfully kind and energetic people through the Press On exhibition (see previous post), I received an invitation to teach a Letterpress Workshop at Pyramid Atlantic in Hyattsville, MD.

It was my first time teaching in this very inspiring, incredibly creative space which houses letterpress printing, silkscreen printing, book binding and paper making all under one roof in a cute, vibrant community not far from DC. And so, I was excited to teach this workshop using the “Werkman Method,” a method of collaging on press and essentially making monoprints. I trust a good time was had by all and I look forward to teaching again at Pyramid Atlantic, this very inspiring space.
